I came here for the first time on a Friday evening with three friends who have been to another Spice Symphony and highly recommended it! The restaurant was also very homey and ever so slightly moody. The front door leads to an intimate lower level that is the restaurant and most of the light comes from the front desk and the bar. As you go further towards the back, where we sat, most of the illumination comes from the candles on the table. Only thing is that this can cause for minor messes, as we had a spill from a server refilling our water glasses and a candle that was knocked over during table cleanup. Regardless, everyone was incredibly friendly. The servers were very kind and accommodating of us, especially when we were first figuring out what to order since some of us at the table could handle spice and some of us couldn't. The food here was absolutely delicious, with just the right amount of spice. Among the four of us, we ordered the Gobi Manchurian, Malai Paneer Ke Tikke, and Hakka Noodles with egg. The Gobi Manchurian was so good that we ordered another round of it, along with an order of the Paneer Chili Dry. Definitely need to come back to try more dishes!

Lovely service, food, and ambiance. Be aware that cash tips of about 20% are added automatically to the bill. Had no problem with that as the service was great!

Spice Symphony - an absolute must if you're in NYC Dining at Spice Symphony at 150 East 50th Street was an extraordinary culinary journey, thanks in no small part to Nisar, the exceptional manager who made our evening unforgettable. From the moment we were seated, the ambiance set the tone for a memorable meal. We began our feast with delectable samosas, perfectly crisp on the outside and bursting with a flavorful filling that hinted at the authentic spices to come. For our entrees, we indulged in the butter chicken and baghare baingan. The butter chicken was rich and creamy, with tender chicken pieces that melted in our mouths. The baghare baingan, a dish less familiar to us, was a revelation with its complex layers of flavor, showcasing the chefs' mastery over spices. To top off our already perfect meal, Nisar graciously offered us a complimentary gulab jamun. This sweet, syrupy dessert was the perfect end to a symphony of flavors, leaving us utterly satisfied. The food at Spice Symphony is truly a celebration of authentic Indian cuisine, with each dish showcasing the fresh, vibrant spices that are the hallmark of great Indian cooking. It was, without a doubt, the best Indian food we have ever had. If you are looking for an exceptional dining experience, Spice Symphony is a must-visit, and Nisar will ensure your meal is nothing short of perfect.
